The

Shift Manager

role at

supports the General Manager in overseeing the operations and sales of a high-volume convenience store retail outlet. This role works with store management to provide associates with supervision and leadership on designated shifts, and it aims to drive profitability, develop people, and maintain the highest level of guest service. Responsibilities

Lead by example and model RaceTrac’s Core Values, Leadership Qualities, and the RaceTrac Way to the entire team. Oversee, coach, train and develop store team members. Direct, plan and allocate the work of store team members on designated shifts. Supervise and monitor adherence to safety and food-safety regulations. Participate in daily store operations as needed, including ringing up guests, keeping the store clean and well maintained, stocking shelves and coolers, and taking inventory. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required. Greet and interact with guests, manage store operations on designated shifts, maintain inventory in a neat and organized manner, provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service, foster positive relationships with co-workers and guests, and address employee and guest concerns on designated shifts. Qualifications
