Key Responsibilities
Define Standards:
Establish and implement quality standards for products, services, and processes.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor QA teams, fostering their development and ensuring efficient execution of testing procedures.
Strategy & Planning:
Develop QA roadmaps, oversee test automation strategies, and select appropriate testing tools and environments.
Process Monitoring:
Monitor quality testing, identify gaps, and work with other teams to implement improvements.
Data Analysis:
Collect and analyze quality assurance data, such as bug rates and coverage metrics, to identify areas for improvement.
Compliance:
Ensure all products and processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with developers, project managers, and other leads to align testing with business goals and ensure consistent product quality.
Reporting & Documentation:
Handle quality reports and maintain thorough documentation of quality assurance processes and results.
