Project Coordinator – Nucor Rebar Fabrication
Location: Lexington, NC, United States.

Key Responsibilities
Adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s safety programs and standards.
Contact customers at project start and maintain proactive communication throughout.
Coordinate project requirements with contractors and detailers to ensure timely delivery of drawings and materials.
Attend site meetings with detailers to support customer focus.
Produce necessary documents and coordinate orders in the business system.
Assist the supervisor in reviewing projects and resolving discrepancies.
Maintain contract files, monitor lump sums for over‑runs, and track final invoicing.
Place non‑rebar product orders and manage orders via the business system.
Track change orders through the system and develop knowledge of the CRSI Manual of Standard Practice.
Develop understanding of detailing, fabrication practices, and reinforced‑bar detailing.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Three years of project coordination or high‑level administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications
At least one year of experience in a construction environment.
Two‑year degree in Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution.
Basic knowledge of reinforcing bar detailing.
Experience in customer relations and conflict resolution.
Skills & Requirements
Critical thinking and creative problem‑solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Basic knowledge of standard business practices.
Must be able to work overtime when required.
