Business Development Representative (BDR)

Part Time to Full Time Experienced Caring Transitions of Cumming & Suwanee, GA has an immediate opportunity available in an essential area of need. The Business Development Representative position is among the most critical components of our operation, serving as the face of our franchise. The BDR will report to management and be responsible for building relationships with senior living facilities, generating sales leads, networking, and developing proposals for our services. Key responsibilities include: Networking:

Building relationships with senior living facilities, real estate agents, and other potential clients to generate new business. Lead generation:

Identifying and pursuing new sales leads and working with management to develop proposals for potential clients. Proposal development:

Collaborating with management and Team Leaders to create tailored proposals that meet client needs, budgets, and staff availability. Presentations:

Presenting proposals to potential clients, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Follow-up:

Ensuring client satisfaction, encouraging reviews, and responding to negative feedback appropriately. Industry knowledge:

Staying informed about industry trends and sharing insights with the team. Reporting:

Providing regular updates on business development efforts to management. Qualifications include strong communication and interpersonal skills, sales and networking experience, and knowledge of the senior transition and estate sale industry is a plus. The role may involve travel and outside working hours for networking and client meetings. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills are essential, along with the ability to understand client needs and customize proposals accordingly. Additional responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources through meetings and communications. Manage lead generation and assist in converting leads to sales. Lead prospect meetings with a prepared agenda. Sell service packages tailored to client needs. Participate in trade shows, community events, and networking opportunities. Coordinate marketing content and success stories for various channels. Implement marketing strategies and leverage business opportunities. Manage marketing activities using project management and social media tools. Maintain internal communication regarding marketing activities. The ideal candidate will oversee daily sales and marketing activities, develop long-term referral networks, and serve as the primary contact for partners and prospects. They will work closely with our team to analyze client needs, set goals, and expand our business through innovative marketing and sales strategies. About Caring Transitions Caring Transitions is a national organization founded in 2006, dedicated to assisting seniors and their families with downsizing, resettling, packing, organizing, home cleanouts, and estate sales. We are passionate about supporting the senior community during transitional periods. Applicants should have outside sales experience, with details on years and familiarity areas, and share any relevant prior experience. The role requires passing a background check, possessing a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel. A smartphone is necessary for on-site duties.
