Overview
We are currently seeking an exceptional customer service professional to join us as a Supply Chain Specialist. As the leading supply chain solutions business in the aerospace industry, we put customers at the heart of our business. The role is responsible for supporting the business with timely tactical and strategic support that meets all internal and external stakeholders’ requirements, including customer service, inventory, cash, quality, cost and delivery targets. The position requires the individual to robustly follow and contribute to supply chain processes/standard work for coordinating the supply of chemical and hardware purchases while maintaining a timely flow of information back to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
Know, understand and incorporate the Wesco Aircraft vision, goals and values in all behaviour, practice and decisions.
Follow best practice and contribute towards standard work/processes, making recommendations for improvements.
Act as a liaison for supply chain with customer and internal operations on material and component optimisation, new product cost analysis, delivery commitments, order book management, design readiness and manufacturing producibility.
Execute procurement transactions on time and to the required service level set by the business.
Support supplier development activities.
Identify profit, cash and inventory reduction initiatives.
Coordinate with procurement on negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms & conditions.
Execute and own a dedicated group of suppliers and customers of the end‑to‑end supply chain, ensuring high levels of communication and responsiveness.

About You
Educated to A Level or equivalent.
Demonstrable relevant and appropriate work experience in supply chain.
Demonstrated hands‑on application and concept of ERP systems (e.g., JDE, tcmIS).
Demonstrated ability to perform tactical buying functions.
Proficient IT skills and good working knowledge of MS Office Excel.
Ideally CIPS qualified or working toward accreditation.
