Environmental Tectonics Corporation, a growing, dynamic US Company located just outside of Philadelphia, PA is seeking a local Quality Control Inspector to support operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Lead and perform detailed quality inspections using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy and surface integrity.

Inspect large custom precision machined parts and weldments both in-house and at vendor locations.

Oversee calibration and maintenance of precision measuring instruments to ensure continued measurement accuracy.

Interpret and adhere to internal Quality System policies, procedures, and work instructions in compliance with company standards.

Accurately record, document, and maintain inspection and test results for traceability and reporting purposes.

Perform data entry and inventory transactions following inspection activities.

Conduct testing, collect and document test data in support of engineering and quality assurance programs or projects.

Collaborate with cross-functional departments to promptly resolve quality issues and ensure product compliance with specifications.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Hands‑on experience using standard mechanical and electrical measuring/test equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, multimeters).

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, precision‑focused custom machine shop environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Solid understanding of quality management principles and industry standards such as ISO 9001 or equivalent.

Preferred:

CQI (Certified Quality Inspector) or AWS (American Welding Society) inspection certification.
