Yes We are seeking a

Project Development Manager – Utility-Scale Solar & Storage

to lead the full-cycle development of renewable energy projects across the United States. The position involves the origination, permitting, and advancement of large-scale solar and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) initiatives from greenfield through Notice-to-Proceed (NTP). The selected professional will coordinate land acquisition, permitting, environmental assessments, and interconnection processes, ensuring project viability and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This is a strategic role within a global renewable energy company expanding its North American portfolio. Key Responsibilities

Lead the origination and development of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across multiple U.S. states. Oversee site identification, feasibility studies, land acquisition, and lease negotiations. Manage permitting and environmental review processes, coordinating with consultants and local authorities. Collaborate with engineering, finance, and legal teams to advance projects to investment and construction stages. Ensure interconnection applications and grid studies are completed on time. Build and maintain relationships with landowners, utilities, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders. Support PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) and offtake negotiations. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones to achieve corporate development goals. Provide strategic input on portfolio expansion and market entry opportunities. Represent the company in industry events and with key regional stakeholders. Requirements

Education:

Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in renewable energy project development within the U.S. market (solar, wind, or BESS). Demonstrated success advancing projects from greenfield to NTP or COD. Experience coordinating with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and environmental permitting agencies. Track record in stakeholder management and community engagement. Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing consultants. Knowledge: Strong understanding of U.S. permitting frameworks, interconnection processes, and renewable incentive programs (IRA, PTC, ITC). Solid grasp of project financial modeling fundamentals and PPA structures. Understanding of environmental compliance, land use, and zoning regulations. Software: Required:

Microsoft Office Suite, GIS tools, and project management platforms. Preferred:

Salesforce, PowerBI, or equivalent CRM/data visualization tools. Languages:

Advanced English (required); Spanish proficiency is a plus. Valued:

Experience with hybrid solar + storage projects and partnerships with utilities or corporate offtakers.
