Knowledge of budget planning and monitoring and financial analysis. Requires excellent communication and time management skills with a proven ability to need deadlines. Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Attention to detail with excellent accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Analytical skills to identify and comprehend opportunities for financial and operational improvement through data analysis and interpretation.**Responsibilities**:* Support the implementation, presentation and ongoing management of the capital, operating, statistical & personnel budgets for the academics and research missions.* Prepare, examine, and analyze financial forecasts, including projected revenue and expenses* Analyze financial reports to ensure revenue and expense conform to budget standards* Interpret and work with financial data, including financial statements, written financial policies and regulations* Assist leaders in academic and research units in understanding and interpreting financial data* Remain up to date with industry issues and developments with may have direct impact on the department or the organization as a whole* Learn and assist in implementing a new Financial Planning/Reporting/Decision Support application.
