Position Summary Registered Nurse – Transitional Care Unit (RN) is a full‑time, night shift (7pm‑7am) position located at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. The RN provides compassionate, high‑quality care to patients during urgent medical situations, utilizing critical thinking, communication, and nursing expertise.
Position Highlights
Shift: Full time, nights 7pm – 7am
Location: Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center
Pay Range: $34.90 – $52.35 per hour

What You'll Need
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire

Deliver compassionate care using the nursing process to assess, diagnose, and coordinate care for patients and family members.

Foster collaboration, share information, and actively participate in professional practice model and shared governance initiatives.

Patient Advocacy:
Advocate for patients’ needs and preferences throughout the continuum of care, including the community.
Care Management and Clinical Prioritization:
Coordinate the effective delivery of patient care services, identifying clinical priorities and initiating action to continuously improve outcomes.

Contribute to shared governance, promote a healthy and supportive work environment, and take personal responsibility for professional growth.
