Purpose Perform various day-to-day administrative tasks related to inbound materials and outbound shipping orders in coordination with Warehouse Operations and Customer Care while providing the necessary level of service to meet operational requirements and customer satisfaction. Monitors Cycle Count Program and inventory accuracy to achieve required accuracy levels enabling timely picking and shipping of products. Core Responsibilities ● Perform a range of administrative activities to facilitate the timely and accurate shipment of materials through daily Cycle Count Program and inventory maintenance and documentation. ● Coordinate transport complaints and implement corrective solutions within due time. ● Prepare and maintain shipping records; prepare bills of lading; compute duties, tariffs, price conversions, weights, and volumes. ● Optimize and/or introduce flows related to transport and distribution. ● Communicate with external organizations (for example customs authorities or shipping agents) to verify customs requirements ● Investigate customer complaints related to product miss shipments ● Monitor Cycle Count Program and inventory accuracy ● Investigate inventory discrepancies and report findings to Warehouse Manager ● Perform inventory related task and adjustments related to discards ● Monitor and maintain Lost and Found bins and inventory adjustments and transactions ● Perform other general administrative tasks as required. ● Coordinate shuttles within two warehouses ● Coordinate and request transfer of inventory within different warehouses ● Monitor and maintain up to date inventory request ● Plus any additional tasks assigned by supervisor/manager Academic Background ● Overall work experience of 1 to 2 years in logistics in a warehouse/manufacturing environment (4 to 5 years if high school diploma) Technical Skills ● Good understanding of shipping and receiving regulations and protocol ● Good knowledge of local and international material/product safety/security norms and regulations ● Knowledge of supply chain dependencies and processes as related to inventory accuracy ● Basic knowledge of Cycle Count process and inventory control At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.
