Job Description Quality Inspector

As a Quality Inspector, you’ll be the gatekeeper of excellence—ensuring every part meets the highest standards before it reaches our customers. You’ll work hands‑on with precision tools, interpret complex blueprints, and collaborate across departments to uphold our reputation for quality.

Responsibilities

Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and more to inspect parts with precision.

Perform First Article, In‑Process, Final, and Receiving Inspections.

Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T with confidence.

Operate and analyze data from CMM, Keyence, Zeiss, and other vision systems.

Ensure compliance with AS9102, ISO 9001, and AS9100 standards.

Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to resolve quality issues.

Conduct shop audits and issue measuring tools to the floor as needed.

Qualifications

2 years of hands‑on experience in quality inspection.

Mastery of mechanical inspection tools – no training wheels needed.

Strong understanding of GD&T, aerospace specs, and quality documentation.

Experience with CMM and visual inspection tools (a plus!).

Clear communicator with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41,600 – $66,560 per year.

Workplace Type & Location Permanent position based out of Bloomington, MN. Fully onsite.
