Job Summary Precision OT, part of Belden's Broadband Solutions, delivers high-performance optical networking equipment. The Customer Support Specialist supports the sales team, drives efficiency, and delivers an outstanding customer experience for all Precision OT customers.

What You Will Do

Support the sales team with general operations to help reach team objectives.

Generate a high volume of quotes for the sales team and assigned customers.

Process a high volume of product orders, new POs, samples, etc.

Process all external order acknowledgments, ship reports, and customer order status/delivery requests.

Ensure opportunity information in the company CRM is up‑to‑date and accurate.

Work with account teams and engineering resources to process new part requests.

Assist the sales team with new contact creation and organization chart updates.

Support internal and external reporting requests for sales and assigned customers.

Prioritize and respond to high volumes of email and digital ticket/case management requests in the company CRM.

Communicate important feedback from customers to appropriate internal team members.

Work with assigned account teams to understand customer expectations and deliverables.

Take an active role in developing new or revised business processes as systems and work methodologies adapt.

Acknowledge and communicate fulfillment of all customer‑related Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).

Participate in the customer billing/invoicing process as needed in coordination with sales and Precision AR team.

Maintain a full understanding of company QMS (Quality Management System) policy and procedures.

What You Will Bring

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

2 or more years of sales‑focused administrative work experience or inside account management duties.

Experience partnering with teams that have quota or budget ownership preferred.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels.

Team‑player with detail‑oriented, organized approach and positive attitude.

Strong client experience orientation.

Proficiency with IT applications, including Salesforce.com, Google Collaboration Tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Process‑oriented problem‑solving approach.

Compensation & Benefits Base compensation range $61,700 - $92,500 plus benefits and additional incentives based on level. Employment includes hybrid and remote work options where feasible.
