Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are in the office, Thursday and Friday are WFH. Hours/Schedule:
2nd shift, 2 PM – 10 PM EST, 8-hour days, five days a week, occasional weekends and holidays as needed. Top Skills: Fiber/DAS/Small Cell (preferred), customer service, and strong technical skills. Position Summary: Provides support in a 24x7x365 Network Operations Center that monitors, resolves, tests, and escalates Network DAS and Small Cell issues to ensure company compliance with customer requirements. Essential Job Functions: Serve as primary support for Small Cell Operations by managing internal and customer devices, performing analysis of alarms, and taking steps to restore service. Engage field operations and Tier 2 support for network equipment issues as needed. Respond to client requests and notify clients of network problems and business impacts. Review planned and unplanned changes to network infrastructure. Monitor DAS & Small Cell networks using provided systems and tools to remotely access equipment and resolve alarms. Localize network problems to the host or remote equipment using provided tools. Identify root causes by analyzing multiple alarm conditions or tickets. Communicate internally with Fiber NOC on alarm status and resolutions. Communicate externally with customers regarding alarm statuses and escalations. Coordinate with field personnel to verify repairs, test alarm systems, and document resolutions. Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting of DAS network alarms. Serve as the first contact during large-scale outages and provide feedback to customers and technicians. Maintain knowledge of products, processes, and systems used in the SCN NOC. Education/Certifications: Associate's degree or equivalent technical training in electronics or IT. 3 to 5 years of customer service and/or service dispatch experience. Telecommunication and wireless experience is preferred. Other Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of wireless telecommunications network management systems. Strong sense of personal accountability. Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn specialized tools. Experience in completing maintenance tickets. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated with decision-making capabilities. Knowledge of wireless communications is a plus. Working Conditions: This role follows a hybrid work model, working approximately 60% in-office (3 days/week) and 40% remote (2 days/week).
