Pay Range:
$24.85 - $37.30
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. 5 years of supervisory experience required.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:
ServSafe Food Safety certification within one year of hire, which must be maintained throughout employment in this job.
Essential Functions
Ensures high customer satisfaction, aiming for service and quality standards.
Maintains excellent sanitation ratings, following policies, completing cleaning assignments, and meeting Sodexo standards.
Monitors product quality, recipe compliance, adherence to guidelines, and meets productivity and delivery schedules.
Adheres to workplace safety and sanitation rules, contributing to a safe work environment.
Completes required in-service training, job-specific training, and annual compliance and HIPAA training.
Minimizes product waste, controls costs, and manages food and supplies following portion control guidelines.
Participates in performance improvement indicatives, working as a team player and supporting other Food and Nutrition Services Departments as needed.
Conducts customer service panels, striving for high operational and service standards, fostering constructive discussions and creating action plans for problem resolution.
Skills / Qualifications
Must be literate in English and able to follow instructions
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong organizational skills with ability to make independent decisions with little involvement from management
Knowledge of food service equipment, preparation, service, and safety
Self‑motivated with ability to adjust to the needs of the department and solve problems
Desire to achieve high customer service standards
Ability to direct staff toward achieving daily operational standards, as stated in department and hospital policies
Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people including employees, nursing staff, managers, and hospital staff
Ability to work weekends and holidays.
Work Environment
May be required to work in all areas of the Food and Nutrition Services departments including kitchen and retail areas.
Exposure to wet tile floors and dangerous, sharp equipment.

The Retail Food Services Manager is responsible for overall operation of a retail food establishment. This includes overseeing operations, cost containment, inventory management, department sanitation, and evening shift supervision. The incumbent may assume additional duties as needed.
