AISIN World Corp. of America . Summary: Inspects received material for defects and conformance to required product specifications. Responsibilities
Verifies conformance of the product to dimensional specifications. Release of material based on inspection / test results. Interprets basic engineering drawings. Effectively uses gages and measuring equipment. Performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics. Enters data into the computer for analysis and prepares graphs or charts. Verifies conformance to gages to calibration standards. Records inspection data. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Ability to interpret written communication and blueprints/technical documents. Ability to maintain charts, graphs, and production reports. Ability to calculate basic mathematical computations. Good problem solving skills. Understand SPC, Control Charting, FMEA's. Skills and Abilities
Capable of carrying out all assignments and maintaining the 5S philosophy. Ability to understand blueprints and technical documents (confirmed above). Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. Seniority level
