HealthCare Customer Service Representatives ensure that client-assigned healthcare accounts are billed and paid accurately and timely. They perform their duties in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and GetixHealth’s policies and procedures. Responsibilities
Medical Collections Responding to telephone inquiries (inbound/outbound) using standard procedures and scripts Gathering information, performing research, and resolving customer inquiries Communicating appropriate options for resolution in a timely manner Informing customers/patients about services available and assessing their needs Scheduling work to ensure accurate phone coverage, prioritizing calls, and escalating as required Assisting in planning and implementing department goals and recommending improvements Requirements
High school diploma or college degree from an accredited institution Spanish fluency preferred 2-5 years of industry experience in medical revenue cycle management (preferred) Medical experience, practical or classroom-based Understanding of the medical revenue cycle Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Attention to detail Good attendance record Ability to work collaboratively in a team Proficiency in MS Office Suite Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Office environment; remote opportunities available after 120 days based on performance Ability to operate office equipment Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs Sitting for extended periods with frequent bending and stooping Reliable transportation or valid driver’s license required Benefits
