About the Role
Community Support Specialists (Adult)
at Burrell Behavioral Health.
Full‑time, weekdays, no weekends; pay $22/hour plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver mental health services to adults in community settings.
Use behavioral interventions such as motivational interviewing and cognitive processing.
Manage a caseload and collaborate with supervisors.
Participate in staffing sessions and develop individual care plans.
Respond to crises and provide timely assistance.
Maintain continuity of care, follow‑up, outreach.
Document all interactions comprehensively.
Engage in staff development activities.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
Compassion, empathy, and a desire to help others.
Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice, Family Studies, Counseling, or related field.
Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support, or equivalent experience (four years). Combination of education and experience acceptable.
Qualified Addictions Professional (QAP) or certifications: CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, RADC‑P, RADC, CCDP, CCDP‑D.
