Job Summary:
Goodwill Industries of Tenneva is hiring an
e-Commerce Jewelry Specialist
to support our growing online retail operations. This role focuses on sorting, evaluating, testing, and listing jewelry for online resale. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with fine and costume jewelry, can accurately identify gemstones and metals, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Sort and evaluate donated jewelry to identify valuable pieces for resale. Accurately test and assess items for gemstone content and precious metals. Photograph and list jewelry using an iPhone and web-based platforms. Create clear, compelling product descriptions and titles to maximize item visibility and sales. Track and meet daily/weekly production and listing goals. Manage inventory, including organizing, updating, and purging items as needed. Use available sales data to make informed listing and pricing decisions. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Support other e-commerce tasks as needed (e.g., packing, shipping, listing non-jewelry items). Required Qualifications: Strong knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and costume jewelry is essential Experience using testing tools to evaluate jewelry authenticity Basic computer skills and the ability to use an iPhone for photography and app-based listing Strong attention to detail, grammar, and item presentation Comfort working independently while meeting production goals Flexibility to adapt as business needs evolve Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills Preferred Qualifications: GIA (Gemological Institute of America) or IGS (International Gem Society).
This certification is

preferred and will be a significant advantage in this role.
