Job Description
Design, develop, and execute API test cases for Mobile OSS/BSS systems. Validate APIs supporting ordering, provisioning, upgrades/downgrades, transfers, exchanges, billing, and other telecom business operations. Ensure end-to-end API workflows are functioning correctly and meeting business requirements. Analyze API responses and logs to identify defects, performance issues, and integration problems. Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and provide root cause analysis. Define test data requirements and simulate real-world telecom scenarios. Work with SQL queries to validate backend data consistency. Document test results, defects, and prepare test reports. Required Experience
5-8 years of experience in API testing for telecom OSS/BSS applications. Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP API testing methodologies. Hands-on experience with API Testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools. Familiarity with mobile ordering, provisioning, rating, billing, and customer lifecycle processes. Strong expertise in SQL and backend validation techniques. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, QMetry, or ALM Octane. Experience with telecom CRM systems such as Amdocs platforms is a plus.
