$25.17/hour

The Job You Will Perform:

Candidates for the Lab Tech I position should have cross-functional knowledge of the business and applications offered by Specialty Products. The successful applicant will have experience or display an aptitude for the following:

Batchmaster Software – Formula entry and formula updates

Shipping packages

Reading/responding to emails in a timely manner

Cutting and labeling color swatches accurately

Filling out Customer Service Requests manually and in the CSR database

Filing CSR’s and color standards

Routing color standards to Blend plants

Entering color standards into Xrite

Matching colors both visually and according to spectral data

Identifying proper vehicle system for given application

Identifying/recognizing a customer’s environmental restrictions and formulating accordingly

Making proper anilox selection per machine requirements

Generating best color match within cost constraints

The Skills You Will Bring:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access)

Familiarity with Batchmaster Enterprise

Ability to communicate well verbally and across electronic platforms such as e‑mail, text, and instant messaging

Attention to detail
