Elective & Trauma Hand Surgical Facilities
Teach and mentor students/residents/fellows
Research support for any NIH-funded candidates
Practice Profile
Department led by Dr. Elfar, who serves as Department Chair and is also a Hand and Upper Extremity surgeon
22 Orthopaedic Surgeons (including 4 Hand & Upper Extremity), Trauma, Foot & Ankle, Spine, Sports Medicine, Joint Replacement, and General Orthopaedics
20 orthopaedic residents, 2 Fellows (1 Hand & 1 Sports Med)
10 APPs
Dedicated MA, casting support, and nurse navigator/educator for joint replacement
