One of the largest behavioral health facilities in the nation, Peace Hospital is known for providing care for children, adolescents, adults and senior adults, age 55 and older. Our Kosair for Kids Children’s Peace Center is the largest and most comprehensive private provider of youth inpatient behavioral health services in the country treating children and adolescents with behavioral health and co-occurring disorders. We have a partial hospitalization program for school-aged children and an inpatient specialty program for children and adolescents who have complex treatment needs, such as intellectual or developmental disabilities accompanied by acute behavioral and psychiatric symptoms. UofL Health is home to over 14,000 team members, 1000+ providers, 200+ practice locations, 9 hospitals, and 4 medical centers.**Our Mission**As an academic health care system, we will transform the health of the communities we serve through compassionate, innovative, patient-centered care.This position is responsible for providing direct clinical behavioral health and/or substance use services to child, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patients and families. Services include: group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, psycho-education, discharge planning and coordinating with community, government and/or other behavioral health agencies for aftercare services.**Essential Functions:**Under the direct supervision of a board approved supervisor, this position will provide therapeutic and case management services, including:* Adheres to respective Board mandated professional development and CEU requirements needed to maintain active provisional licensure* Demonstrates screening and assessment skills needed to obtain essential information from patients, their families, or collateral sources to develop person-centered care and discharge plans* Documents and communicates key information needed to collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary treatment team to develop individualized and developmentally appropriate care and discharge plans. Provides rational for prioritization and/or deferment of problems* Displays proficiency in providing therapeutic interventions to families, individuals, and groups. Offers specialized treatment interventions such as sexual offender therapy, play therapy, EMDR, or other if certified/credentialed to do so* Displays proficiency in clinical documentation to include development of care plan goals, objectives, and intervention strategiesShift Length (in hours):8 hours# Shifts/Week:5Overtime Required:☐ Infrequently
