BJC HealthCare is seeking a Clinical Documentation Coordinator to join our team. This individual will be auditing to make sure data is correct within the patient chart and providing quality control by looking at productivity, quality audits for staff, and determining production standards. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years experience within a relevant role. EPIC experience is highly preferred. Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm or 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Overview

Responsibilities

The Coordinator, Clinical Documentation (Audit) reviews and audits medical record documentation against Federal and State regulatory compliance requirements interpreting compliance of documentation with required standards. Accurately collects and compiles data in support of regulatory survey action plans, hospital audit requirements, and any clinical documentation related requests for information for executive level reporting to BJC System committees, BJC reporting dashboards, BJC & HSO Regulatory Committees, etc. Assists Clinical Documentation Specialists in ensuring the integrity of the medical record accurately reflects clinical documentation has been thoroughly and timely recorded. Maintains and collaborates to complete collection of clinical documentation data to support timely reporting to Regulatory Teams, Hospital Leadership and other applicable teams focused on ensuring compliant clinical documentation. Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED 2+ years experience within a relevant role Preferred Requirements
