Full Time Continuous Care LVNs Location and Schedule
Patient visits are available in various areas—must be willing to drive. Locations include Los Angeles, South Bay, San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley, Ventura, and the Inland Empire. Shift: 12am–8am, Monday through Friday and on weekends. Hourly:
$35.00–$38.00 *
We welcome applications from new Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) graduates, especially those with experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), or Medical Assistant (MA). Position Summary
We are looking for experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses to work continuous care and/or alternate and guaranteed hours shifts. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and provide care to assigned hospice patients. This includes intermittent visits or shifts of skilled nursing care, performing prescribed medical treatments (including pain management and symptom control), nursing observations, teaching regarding the expected course of the disease and other health measures to the patient, family, or other primary caregivers. You will also participate in care plan development and implementation with other members of the hospice interdisciplinary team. You must possess a sympathetic attitude toward caring for hospice patients and families, be able to communicate and interact well with other members of the hospice team, and be comfortable with computers and use of electronic medical records. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of vocational/practical nursing. Current LVN license within the State. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Vocational/Practical Nursing preferred. At least one year of experience as LVN/LPN. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable/well-maintained transportation.
