Musculoskeletal Radiologist

— The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester (URMC), in Rochester, NY, is seeking an additional full- or part-time, onsite radiologist to join the musculoskeletal division. The Department of Imaging Sciences is seeking an ABR certified/eligible radiologist to join the division of Musculoskeletal Radiology. We are the only Level 1 trauma center within the Rochester region. The Division of Musculoskeletal imaging is primarily centered at the new Advanced Orthopedics Center, which is located in the repurposed Marketplace Mall. The center includes both an advanced imaging center (CT, MRI, US), ambulatory surgery, physical therapy, and a soon to open state-of-the-art outpatient Orthopedics clinical tower. Responsibilities

Interpret 100% subspecialty MSK radiology using the latest technology in Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, Radiography, Conventional CT, Cone Beam CT, Dual Energy CT, MRI and US. Perform and supervise fluoroscopic, and ultrasound guided joint injections, joint aspirations, and CT and MRI arthrography (onsite where applicable). Collaborate closely with the Orthopedic, Pathology, and Rheumatology Departments. Engage in interdepartmental conferences and tumor boards. Educate medical students, diagnostic radiology residents, orthopedic residents, and musculoskeletal fellows; participate in teaching and mentorship. Contribute to patient care and service in a Level 1 trauma center environment. Qualifications

ABR certified or eligible radiologist (New York State Medical License or ability to obtain). Fellowship-trained or equivalent experience in musculoskeletal radiology. Active participation in performing procedures (if onsite), teaching, research, and service. Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $453,900 - $494,700. Additional compensation in the form of clinical and non-clinical incentives. Additional Information
