PAY RANGE:
$40.18 - $61.44
SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS/PREMIUMS:
Shift Differentials:
Evening $3.00/hour
Night $5.00/hour
Premiums:
Weekend Premium $4.50/hour
Standby Premium $4.00/hour
Per Diem Premium 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits)
Certification Premium $2.00/hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Applies sonography safely to patients for diagnostic purposes upon the request of a physician. Also works under the supervision of the interpreting physicians for cardiac sonography.
EDUCATION:
Completion of an accredited cardiac sonography program.
EXPERIENCE:
Two years previous experience in adult transthoracic, stress (exercise and dobutamine), transesophageal (TEE) cardiac ultrasound preferred. Hospital setting preferred.
LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS:
Credentialed or eligible for credentialing through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Must be credentialed within one year of hire date. Current BLS.
