We’re hiring experienced RN-OR-Operating Room for a 13-week contract in Calais, Maine — earn up to ($2577 - $2712 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room setting.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Assist in surgical procedures and ensure a sterile environment.

Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during surgery.

Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff for optimal outcomes.

Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback.

Maintain accurate records of patient care and surgical procedures.

Utilize data to assess and enhance patient care effectiveness.

Engage in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Support the onboarding and training of new staff members.

Experience/Qualifications

Valid RN license in the state of Maine, with OR experience preferred.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Experience in operating room settings, assisting in various surgical procedures.

Ability to monitor patient vitals and respond to changes effectively.

Eagerness to engage in team meetings and contribute to patient care strategies.

Strong understanding of safety protocols and infection control measures.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with surgeons and medical staff.

Ability to utilize data for assessing and enhancing patient care effectiveness.
