What You'll Do
Ensure daily preventative maintenance is performed on vehicles and mobile equipment, which may include fueling, cleaning, and checking/adding fluids as needed Maintain mobile equipment, cranes, bearings, power transmission, hydraulics/pneumatics, fluid pumping systems and welding principles/rigging Services machinery and mechanical equipment by completing repairs on engines, hydraulics systems, mobile and stationary equipment Repair engine failures, mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, body repair and replacing parts and components Maintains specified records of work performed, details of repairs, and material usage Ability to work in various types of weather conditions which include extreme heat and cold Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor What You'll Need
Experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, wiring, and working on heavy equipment Proficient in reading and understanding technical documents, diagrams and service manuals Experience with a wide variety of tools related to mechanics/hydraulics Experience with basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, engines, mobile equipment, and vehicles (number of years up to location preference) Possess proficient skills utilizing hand tools, power tools and precision tools for performing all facets of the repair and maintenance process Minimum of 2 years of heavy equipment maintenance mechanic experience Possess specific fundamental knowledge of bearings, power transmission equipment, electrical, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, fluid pumping systems, and heat transfer Must be able to stand for significant lengths of time in an industrial environment with exposure to all elements of weather Your Education
