Acuity Adaptable ICU RN – Dignity Health Job Summary
As our Acuity Adaptable ICU Nurse at Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Center, you will provide exceptional care to patients with varying acuity levels across ICU, PCU, and Med‑Surg units. You will monitor patients and administer medications and treatments, perform diagnostic tests and interpret results, collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, maintain accurate medical records, and provide education and support to patients and families. Responsibilities
Provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric. Manage highly complex patient situations and work under supervision as required. Assist in the management of patient care administered by other nursing staff. Assume the responsibilities of Primary Nurse and Team Leader. Cross‑train into PCU and PEDS services and gain exposure to ICU patients while working in MCU caring for MST patients. Participate in growth opportunities such as Charge RN, Resource RN, precepting, and committee participation. Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in Nursing or foreign equivalent. One year of acute‑care RN experience. Valid compact state or Arizona RN license. American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for the healthcare provider. Competency in basic EKG skills demonstrated by passing an EKG test or completing basic EKG modules within six months of hire. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or foreign equivalent. One year of pediatric RN experience. American Heart Association Advanced Pediatric Life Support certification. Benefits & Opportunities
