National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) invites applications for an Intensive Home‑Based Treatment (IHBT) Clinician, a Community‑Based Therapist working with children and families in Muskingum County.
Compensation:
Salary: $63,000
$1,000 Sign‑On Bonus
Territory: Licking and Muskingum County

NYAP participates in the Great Minds Fellowship and Workforce Commitment Incentive Programs.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual, group, and family mental health therapy, case management, transportation, and other professional services to clients served
Manage a small caseload, traveling daily to provide In‑Home Services to youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements
Meet with each client 2–3 times per week
Coordinate and monitor services for the youth and family in community mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services
Regularly review and modify youth‑based plans to assure consistent progress and success on written plan goals
Establish and maintain strong relationships with assigned foster parents and families of origin
Assist in family reunification and/or stabilization efforts with the youth’s primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youth’s case plan
Provide safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required to assure safety and stability for youth served
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or comparable Human Services field
LSW or LPC required
Experience providing both individual and family therapy
Experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred
Experience with TF‑CBT preferred
Daily travel required with willingness to meet clients on flexible schedule or during non‑traditional hours if needed
Comfortable providing services in the community and in client homes
On‑call duties
Productivity: 40% required
Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
Willingness to accept other job duties as assigned
Driving and Vehicle Requirements:
Valid driver’s license
Reliable personal transportation
Good driving record
Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability
