Crown CAPP is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician. This position will troubleshoot, repair, replace, and maintain electrical systems for production-related equipment and building utilities within a high-speed metal packaging manufacturing facility. This is an hourly position in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment where compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations is essential. 3rd Shift (10:00pm – 6:30am) Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance inspections on production equipment as needed and assigned. Assist in developing preventive maintenance procedures that do not currently exist. Troubleshoot circuits to repair, adjust, calibrate, replace, or modify electrical components and devices of production equipment. Ensure proper use of Lockout Tagout procedures. Conform to NFPA70E and Arc Flash safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and knowledge: High School Diploma or GED required. 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance/Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience troubleshooting and repairing high-speed manufacturing equipment. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Ability to troubleshoot AC/DC control circuits. Experience with 120/240 VAC and 440 VAC single and three-phase power circuits. Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot variable frequency drives such as AB Power Flex 40, 525, and Control Techniques. Understanding of ladder logic with Allen Bradley RS Logix 5, 500, & 5000. Ability to troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) - Allen Bradley PLC 5, SLC 500, Compact Logix. Must comply with OSHA and company safety regulations, including Lock Out/Tag Out and Arc Flash procedures. Proficiency with hand tools, multi-meters (analog & digital), ammeters, and amp probes. Ability to read manuals, prints, and electrical schematics. Good communication skills and basic computer literacy. Strong planning and organizational skills. Physical Requirements:
Work from ladders, lifts, and catwalks at heights of 4-10 feet; occasionally at ceiling height (20+ feet). Frequent standing, walking, climbing, reaching, bending, squatting, and overhead reaching. Pushing, pulling, and lifting requirements of 25+ pounds. Exposure to high noise levels requiring hearing protection. Travel:
