The general purpose of this job is to assemble and fit all mechanical and related electrical assemblies accordingto the blueprint and specifications.

Essential Functions: The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following:
Interprets engineering drawings and blue prints for all assemblies to be fabricated. Identifies all parts required for fabrication and reports missing parts or any problems to Supervisor Fabricates assemblies in accordance with standards specified on engineering drawings and blue prints Inspects own work; repairs or reworks assembly as required Sets up test equipment according to specifications. Conducts and documents tests of units as per specifications when needed.
Skills and Education Required: High School diploma plus trade school or mechanical experience preferred Requires the demonstrated ability to work under limited direction, to understand oral instructions and to read, interpret, and work from blue prints and engineering drawings in the fabrication and test of all assemblies. Requires the demonstrated ability to perform set-ups, operations and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods or procedures. Requires the demonstrated ability to inspect own work, trouble-shoot problems, and take corrective actions. Requires the demonstrated skillful use of various hand tools, standard measuring equipment such as test gauges, calipers and scales, and paint spray equipment. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $25.00 Per Hour
