Sales Engineer - OEMs US , you will lead sales efforts in assigned and new key accounts under the OEM umbrella. This includes, but is not limited to, customers that use our pumps in the manufacture of their final products. As a Sales Manager in Ruhrpumpen, you will be responsible for increasing sales, expanding market share, and profitably growing the assigned product portfolio. Main Responsibilities: Develop a business plan designed to promote the company products in new and existing OEM accounts. Responsible for market development, sales, and service of these accounts. Grow business in the OEM industry. Identify new potential partners in the territory and understand what value our products bring to their current solution. Develop strong direct relationships with major end users. Travel to territory as needed to service existing accounts and identify new potential clients for multiple continuous purchases of Ruhrpumpen products on an OEM basis. Maintain active communications with respective In-House personnel to provide the right level of support to the assigned territory or industry. Develop and maintain active relationships with buying influences to maintain and grow customer/territory interactions. Identify and work with customers to understand and define individual needs. Responsible for territory/customer forecast, budgets, and cost control via company approved systems, methods, and policies. Negotiate orders (technical, commercial, and legal terms and conditions). Responsible for all customer/territory communications and interactions through daily updates in CRM and forecasts, which includes industry/market/account competitive analysis to support management strategy development. Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, and procedures needed to implement a successful OEM sales program. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in similar roles and products. Availability and willingness to travel to customer locations about 40-70% of the time. Knowledge of pumps and rotating equipment is a definite plus. Strong communications and interpersonal skills are required. Strong negotiation, presentation, and sales skills are also required.
