Description
The Repairs Representative will oversee all repair orders; ensure timely turnaround, identify opportunities to reduce operating costs, as well as adherence to all AAR policies and procedures. Will be responsible for reviewing and approving vendor quotes, and support in the management of contractual obligations for inventory programs. The Repairs Specialist will assist in updating the customer, AAR Product Line, and AAR PMO of critical changes in prices and/or delivery dates.
What you will be responsible for:
Manage the creation, tracking and expediting of repair orders. Review and approve vendor quotes. Clear reject due to missing or incomplete documentation. Communicate with vendors and various AAR department staff via phone, and e-mail. Update the customer, AAR Product Line, and AAR PMO of critical changes in prices or delivery rates. Independently allocate sales orders to repair orders. Primary contact internally and externally for program metrics. Support the start-up of new programs. Monitor, track and report internal and external measurements relating to the operation of the inventory programs. Disseminate information from our customers to improve planning. Assist in the management of contractual obligations for Inventory Programs. Independently identify opportunities to reduce operating costs. Initiate and oversee drop shipments process. Train others on inventory program processes and measurements. Identify opportunities to enhance inventory programs internal processes resulting in increased operational efficiency. Document and communicate process and procedures related to performance metrics. All other duties as assigned. What you need to be successful in this role:
Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Emphasis in Logistic and Supply Chain Management or Business Administration preferred. Aviation experience preferred. PC literate (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access). Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $63,000 to $65,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
