Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You Will Be Doing**Supervise a team of Crafts persons to execute daily maintenance tasks and PM check sheets. Support investment projects aligned with HeidelbergCement strategy. Report directly to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager.**Responsibilities*** Schedule and supervise maintenance work to meet production needs.* Manage urgent repairs and minimize equipment downtime.* Develop and motivate maintenance staff for reliable performance.* Coordinate with Maintenance Planner for job scheduling and resource planning.* Ensure safety protocols and plant rules are followed during maintenance.* Participate in plant projects and provide mechanical input.* Maintain records and contribute to operational efficiency evaluations.* Support grievance resolution per Collective Bargaining Agreement.* Ensure tools and consumables are available and in good condition.**What We Are Looking For*** 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience including 1-2 years in supervision, or equivalent training/education.* Cement experience preferred* Experience with large rotating heavy industry machinery.* Strong leadership and organizational skills.* Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).* Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs; available for off-shift and weekend coverage.**Work Environment*** Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm, additional hours may be required per business needs* Participation in bi-weekly on-call program for after-hours maintenance support.**What We Offer*** Competitive base salary ($90,360 - $120,473)* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions, highly competitive benefits programs, including:
