We're hiring experienced RN-NICU-Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for a 16-week contract in Augusta, Georgia — earn up to ($1811 - $1906 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU.

Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report changes promptly.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Evaluate and improve nursing practices based on performance metrics.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Educate families on neonatal care and health management.

Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.

Utilize technology and tools to track patient progress and outcomes.

Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff.

Experience / Qualifications

Current RN license in Georgia with NICU experience required.

Ability to assess and monitor neonatal patient conditions effectively.

Strong communication skills for effective family and team interactions.

Experience in developing and implementing care plans collaboratively.

A mindset focused on achieving targets and measuring results.

Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.

Ability to engage in quality improvement initiatives effectively.

Proficiency in using technology for patient record management.

Experience in training and orienting new nursing staff.
