Licensed Master Social Worker - Nursing Home Surveyor/Complaint Investigator - New York, NY (#25142)
Minimum Qualifications: Licensed Master Social Worker (NYS license required) At least 2 years of clinical experience in a medical facility, preferably a nursing home Experience in nursing home surveillance activities is preferred SMQT Certification is preferred but can be obtained within 12 months of employment Position Overview: Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker to join our team as a Nursing Home Surveyor/Complaint Investigator in New York, NY. This role involves conducting surveys and investigations related to nursing home compliance and quality assurance. Responsibilities: Participate in surveys and complaint investigations, including allegations of abuse and neglect, at nursing homes to assess compliance with Federal and State regulations. Document findings and draft Statements of Deficiencies (SOD) within required timeframes, adhering to Principles of Documentation. Assess compliance with the Plan of Correction within specified deadlines. Enter data into Federal and State reporting databases as required. Participate in State monitoring during Immediate Jeopardy situations. Attend meetings and testify at administrative hearings as needed. Adhere to the Department of Health (DOH) work schedules, policies, and procedures. Travel to onsite locations as per work schedule. Additional Information: Salary: $39/hour This is a Contract/Travel position with mileage reimbursement and a flexible schedule.
