Shift Work; Shift May Vary to include nights, weekends, and holidays to have operations 24 hours a day/7 days a week Work Location:
In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; This position requires work to be performed onsite.
Qualifications
Have a High school diploma or GED equivalent. Possession of a Missouri Class "D" Water Treatment Certificate of Competency or equivalent from another State. Possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position. Be willing to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to have operations 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Possess no felony convictions at any time while employed by the City of Branson. Be able to pass background investigation, physical capability examination, and drug and alcohol screenings.
Experience
One (1) year of experience in performing water treatment operations and maintenance, water distribution sampling, water analysis, mechanical maintenance and repair or closely related work.
What You'll Do
Operate and maintain water treatment plants, groundwater wells, and water towers to ensure continuous and reliable service. Collect and analyze water samples to monitor quality, adjusting treatment processes based on test results and regulatory standards. Prepare, measure, and apply chemical solutions safely and accurately as part of daily treatment operations. Maintain detailed logs and regulatory documentation to support compliance with state and federal drinking water standards. Follow and promote strict safety practices for yourself and others while working in plant and field environments.

Compensation
The starting hourly wage is $21.92 per hour and will increase to $22.79 per hour after 6 months of successful probation. Please check the compensation/benefits statement for details.
