Job Overview Wilson Contracting Services LLC is seeking a motivated Civil Construction Project Manager to lead and manage sitework and utility construction projects from the ground up. This hybrid role requires both technical estimating skills and strong field coordination, perfect for someone who can walk the site and run the numbers. You'll play a key role in our Civil Division, helping us win and deliver projects across North Texas. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a construction professional who understands dirt work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values being part of a team where their voice and work make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
Develop accurate earthwork and utility takeoffs using AgTek and estimates using HCSS Heavy Bid.
Review plans and specifications to ensure full scope coverage and reduce change orders.
Build competitive bids with input from vendors and subcontractors.
Manage day-to-day project operations, including RFIs, submittals, schedules, and budgets.
Serve as the point of contact for clients, superintendents, and subcontractors.
Track project progress, costs, and production to keep jobs on schedule and profitable.
Coordinate closely with the field to resolve issues and deliver successful outcomes.
Prepare and process change orders and project documentation.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in civil construction, preferably focused on earthwork and utilities.
Experience with or ability to learn AgTek and HCSS Heavy Bid software.
Strong computer and project management software skills.
Proven communication and coordination skills with both field and office personnel.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Associate's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
Valid driver's license and ability to visit job sites as needed.
