The Finance / Sales Manager ensures that the dealership meets its unit sales quotas and gross objectives on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. They are also responsible for producing additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance products to customers. Responsibilities include: Making monthly projections of vehicle requirements by department for the upcoming 90 days Determining monthly and yearly forecasts for unit sales, gross profit, and departmental profits Selling financing and other finance and insurance products to customers Selling extended warranties and all other aftermarket items Establishing and maintaining good relationships with finance sources, factory and otherwise Submitting paperwork and obtaining approval from finance sources for all deals Conducting daily meetings with sales staff to review results and plans Conducting sales meetings and facilitating pre-delivery with the Service Manager Providing on-the-job training for salespeople Handling rate quotations and verifying all paperwork for accuracy Logging sales income, verifying insurance, obtaining deposits, and verifying trade payoffs Following all safety policies and reporting accidents Minimum requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Degree or equivalent experience in finance Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures Computer skills preferred Professional appearance Authorization to work in the USA Ability to pass background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and possess a valid driver’s license It's time to make the most important move of your career.
