Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
Overview Associate Director in the Construction industry. As a pivotal team member, you will oversee and coordinate projects to ensure successful completion within defined timeframes and cost parameters. You will contribute to a diverse range of projects, primarily focused on Curtain Walls, Window wall, Storefronts, Metal Panels and more. You will have autonomy to handle daily tasks and participate in all project phases from design to completion.
Responsibilities
Administer curtainwall projects for high rise buildings from pre-construction budgeting/scheduling through procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, turnover and contract closeout.
Coordinate shop drawings and submittals by collaborating with Architects, Engineers, Drafters, and Factory to establish a solid project foundation, including attendance at design meetings.
Obtain current structural drawings from the General Contractor and interface drawings from other trades for site use.
Establish Schedules of Values for projects, assisting with monthly requisitions, change orders, and other project accounting duties.
Develop project schedules based on client requirements, factual durations, and lead times.
Coordinate material release for fabrication in alignment with the project schedule.
Provide project design managers with details and sketches for non-compliant conditions, including structural drawings and those from other trades interfacing with the curtain wall.
Obtain construction permits, follow job safety & insurance program, ensure project is in accordance with codes and requirements.
Oversee and ensure all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields. Master's degree is a plus.
General knowledge of the construction industry and its standard practices (preferred).
Knowledge of the curtainwall industry (a plus).
