Overview

This Plant Manager position will have overall leadership responsibility for the entire manufacturing plant and play a key role in achieving AdvanSix’s strategy and mission. Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Mindset: Accountable for developing and executing strategic vision for entire plant that understands and anticipates the needs of the future. Plans and Aligns: Lead site operations to consistently meet and exceed customer and business objectives and Annual Operating Plan targets; oversee and promote effective Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs and practices within a process safety environment. Decision Quality: Develop and execute strategy for the site to increase sales, productivity, cost effectiveness, asset management, quality, customer satisfaction, and effectively introduce new products for growth. Develop Talent: Develop employees through effective performance management and development and planning/utilization of human and capital resources. Drive Engagement and Instill Trust: Create a culture where employees are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives by gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity. Communicate Effectively and Ensure Accountability: Deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of the site and hold self and others accountable to meet commitments. Customer Focus: Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions. Nimble Learning: Champion learning and programs to drive innovation, yield improvement, technology transfer, process improvement relative to inventory, capacity utilization, and growth opportunities; departmental structure to support operating and strategic goals. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, business, technical discipline, or a related field. 10 years’ experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience. Additional Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to influence others and interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Proven leadership skills as a team player/builder and a driver of value-added results. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, project planning, cost control and program management.
