SAF-HOLLAND is seeking a
Commodity Manager
to lead strategic sourcing initiatives that optimize cost, quality, and delivery across manufacturing locations. You will shape our global supply chain, lead high-impact projects, and foster strategic supplier partnerships.
Responsibilities
Craft Strategic Sourcing Plans : Develop and execute regional and global sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, focusing on cost reduction through negotiation, process optimization, and low-cost country opportunities.
Drive Cost Efficiency : Lead BOM cost reduction initiatives and leverage aggregate demand to negotiate competitive, high-quality contracts.
Build Strong Relationships : Cultivate partnerships with strategic suppliers to ensure top-tier materials at optimal costs.
Lead & Collaborate : Represent Strategic Sourcing in cross-functional teams, guide product launches, and mentor emerging talent.
Analyze & Innovate : Conduct financial and commodity analysis to inform sourcing decisions and achieve measurable objectives.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field.
Experience : Minimum 8 years in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in strategic sourcing or procurement.
Strategic thinking with a proven track record in sourcing, negotiation, or supply chain management.
Demonstrated success in cost reduction, commodity strategy development, and supplier management.
Proficient in project management methodologies including root cause analysis and cross-functional facilitation.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical skills to navigate complex financial and commodity data.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
A collaborative mindset with experience in cross-functional teams.
