About the Team The Tax Technology Senior Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the day‑to‑day success of the finance function on the Tax Team.

Responsibilities

Collaborating closely with internal finance stakeholders to understand business use cases, identifying improvement opportunities, defining requirements and scope.

Taking ownership of developing and executing new and existing solutions while adhering to committed timelines and providing regular status updates.

Developing a deep understanding of our enterprise billing system and relevant data to create best‑in‑class solutions through streamlined queries and workflows.

Creating robust solutions to assess risks and provide analytical support to Zoom's subject‑matter experts, including audit support.

Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of processes, system configurations, and automation workflows.

Partnering with technical data and engineering teams to identify, ingest, validate, and transform data from new sources for use in reporting.

Responsible for maintaining data quality and consistency with internal partners through effective reconciliation processes and procedures.

Authoring, reviewing, and facilitating alignment on Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) by incorporating stakeholder feedback and ensuring cross‑functional buy‑in on project scope and deliverables.

Supporting requirements gathering and user acceptance testing (UAT) during enterprise systems implementations and cross‑functional projects.

Ensuring data security of relevant data stored in cloud systems by monitoring role access and partnering with data platform teams to provide recommendations.

Reviewing, developing, and enhancing new and existing processes. Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX), and data privacy rules and regulations.

What we’re looking for

3+ years of experience in a similar role providing operational and technical data analytical support within a corporate team or a global consulting firm. Experience with bridging the gap between technical and business teams in technology solutions and process improvements.

2+ years of direct experience writing and reviewing SQL queries, within a finance, accounting, or tax capacity. Experience with Python, VBA, or similar programming languages is nice to have.

Experience with AI/LLM, RPA, Alteryx, Jira, Confluence, and Tableau are nice to have.

Experience working with data collected from a variety of sources including Excel, flat files, databases, and APIs.

Experience with interpreting and extracting large volumes of tax and/or transaction data from enterprise systems (Zuora, Avalara, Fonoa, Oracle, Salesforce, etc.) is nice to have.

Experience building solutions subject to SOX controls, including interfacing with internal/external auditors and data privacy laws, is a nice‑to‑have.

High level of detail‑orientation with an eye for accuracy is an absolute must.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, with a demonstrated ability to create clear and comprehensive documentation.

Continuous improvement mindset to bring best practices and efficiencies to repeatable processes.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings: Minimum: $76,800.00

Maximum: $186,200.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus and equity value. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
