Summary We are actively recruiting for a Supply Planner to join our team at Corporate HQ. This position develops and maintains the Production Schedule (daily and/or weekly) for selected plants and species. The Supply Planner is responsible for utilizing company resources efficiently and filling customer orders.
The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, with an annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Creates and maintains the optimum Production Schedule for a poultry processing facility, meeting both short‑ and long‑term goals.
Creates and maintains the optimum inventory profile to ensure fulfillment of customer requirements, taking into account forecast accuracy, schedule compliance and production smoothing requirements.
Reviews forecast with Demand Planning to review issues such as product mix or capacity constraints. Examples include identification of excess product in the future or features requiring capacity at the default plant; assigns volume to alternate facilities after reviewing the full impact of the additional volume.
Works as part of the Sales and Operations Planning team to review the forward plan and past performance, involving constant dialogue with plant, Demand Planning, Order Management and Distribution.
Constantly monitors and reviews the supply models in Blue Yonder (JDA) and Excel, including all automation, overnight processes and interfaces to SAP. Produces daily exception reports for systems exceptions where parameters are missing and process exceptions, e.g., where supply may not meet demand or stock is low.
Monitors exceptions daily and communicates with Order Management to identify solutions; advises on modifications to the supply plan and options for utilizing inventory.
Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree plus 4–5 years of related work experience, or in the absence of a Bachelor’s Degree, total experience equivalent to 7–8 years.

Above average numerical and analytical skills.
Good working knowledge of supply chain and SAP as it relates to inventory and the master production schedule.
Sound business and industry experience.
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of how data is passed between systems.
Ability to travel overnight to customer/vendor locations and/or plant locations.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
Work activity is in an office, open‑partitioned, cubicle environment.
When in a plant environment:
Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 °F to 100 °F with both ambient and 100 % humidity.
May handle product at 25 °F to 50 °F.
May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 dB to 110 dB.
May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
