Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Ensuring safe and continuous operation, product quality, and compliance with environmental requirements in coordination with plant personnel and other HROC staff.* Identifying and troubleshooting process and equipment issues in a timely manner and collaborating with plant and HROC teams to resolve problems to minimize downtime and production losses.* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of process parameters, equipment readings, and operational activities as required to assist in the analysis of operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.* Serve as a key point of contact between plant operations, between POD shifts, and management, ensuring that decisions are implemented effectively with Heidelberg Materials tools.* Act as subject matter expert and a point of escalation to Optimization Specialist team.* Operate the cement manufacturing process from the centralized operations center, analyze equipment status, optimize process parameters, and respond to alarms to ensure the plant operates within specified parameters as needed.* Collaborate with Regional Manager to identify training opportunities, provide performance feedback, and develop the skills and knowledge of the Optimization Specialist team.* Serve as the shift supervisor on a rotational shift, responsible for ensuring the safety of the floor and implementing emergency procedures in the event of incidents locally or at the plant.**What Are We Looking For*** Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree, preferably Chemical, Industrial or Manufacturing.
