Pilgrim Area Collaborative is a public educational collaborative serving students with a wide range of disabilities from primary through post-secondary levels across the South Shore. We anticipate needing Educational Support Professionals (ESPs) to work with post-high school aged students as Educational Coaches. Experience with older students, educational coaching, and transitional services is strongly desired. Students may attend Bridgewater State University, Massasoit Community College, and Quincy College from our Plymouth-based day programs. There is an optional summer ESY Program available. This is a full-time position starting August 25, 2025. Part-time opportunities are also available for suitable candidates. Performance Responsibilities - All Educational Support Professionals:

Work on educational tasks with students as directed by the supervising teacher. Take necessary precautions to ensure student safety. Implement behavior programs, which may include physical restraints or escorts, under the supervision of the teacher. Attend annual Restraint Training. Perform routine cleaning tasks. Support students with grooming, toileting, eating, and self-care skills as needed. Lift and position students who require physical assistance. Implement therapy programs as assigned by therapists and counselors. Correct student work objectively. Supervise students during instruction, recess, and lunch. Assist with student arrival and departure routines. Maintain confidentiality of student information. Build cooperative relationships with staff and other personnel. Follow facility and school rules. Accept work assignments involving any student in the classroom. Assist with attendance, data collection, and behavioral management. Report accidents and misbehavior to the teacher. Help develop classroom materials for educational and enrichment purposes. Participate in team meetings and professional development. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
