Overall mission: Manage daily E2E operations and complete projects in the context of the European Distribution Center (EDC). You will be based in Budapest and report to the Regional Supply Planning Manager.
You will:
Coordinate daily logistics- and operational activities
Monitor Essers' daily end-to-end operations in the EDC
Manage escalations in the E2E scenarios for logistics related issues
Ensure the standard set of Indicators (Safety, Quality, Service, Lean and Costs) in the EDC
Work in a structured way (root-cause analyses, PDCA) with main partners (Sites Shipping Teams, Regional Operational Transport Manager, Warehousing Teams, Road Hub, GBS, LSP, and Controlling) to improve the standard set of Indicators
Analyze monthly the standard set of Indicators; implement and monitor related action plans (continuous improvement)
Develop documents and standards (Safety, HACCP, Working Instructions, SOPs/OPLs) and manage Skill Matrix and training documentation
Collaborate with Regional Logistics Teams
Accomplish smaller projects and transfers within the area of the EDC: improvements and optimization of flows, processes and costs
Support the warehouse footprint reduction in Europe - therefore execution of transfer projects to the EDC
Support change management, including communication and training
You:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or comparable
Fluency in English in written and verbal form
2+ years of experience in Supply Chain with a background in Logistics – meaning DIS and SHI/TRA within SAP
Solid knowledge of warehousing and logistics network
Affinity to systems (SAP, XLS)
Experience in project and change management
