Job Description Quality Inspector
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a
Quality Inspector
for a company based in Piedmont, SC. In this role, you will play a critical role in maintaining high product quality standards and gain hands‑on experience with industry‑standard quality management systems and compliance protocols.
Pay Rate
$14.50-$16.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform regular inspections of raw materials, in‑process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Communicate quality issues or deviations to production supervisors and suggest corrective actions.
Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and adhere to all safety protocols.
Verify that rework or repairs meet quality standards before products are returned to production or sent to customers.
Closely follow safety regulations and guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.
Qualifications and Requirements
Strong understanding of quality control standards, inspection techniques, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in performing inspections and recording data.
Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
Attention to detail and good hand‑eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
