Aircraft Fuel Cell Technicians (Class B)

Wilmington, Ohio . This position is ideal for experienced aircraft maintenance professionals ready to advance their skills and take on a critical role in fuel system maintenance and repair.
Position Summary The
Aircraft Fuel Cell Technician (Class B)
position requires a minimum of two years of aircraft maintenance experience. Technicians in this role perform preventive maintenance and alteration tasks related to aircraft fuel systems in accordance with approved maintenance data and FAA standards. This position reports directly to the Facility Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.
This role does not include management, supervisory, or inspection duties and does not have authorization to sign a maintenance release for return to service. Certification under
14 CFR Part 65
is not required.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals and procedures
Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on aircraft fuel systems
Ensure all maintenance operations are completed in proper sequence and inspections are conducted in an orderly and timely manner
Verify that all maintenance activities adhere to approved maintenance data and customer requirements
Use calibrated and properly labeled tools and test equipment to ensure airworthiness determinations
Request and manage required stock and materials for assigned work
Accurately document all maintenance performed and complete required paperwork
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Remain familiar with applicable
FAR Part 145
and
Part 43
regulations
Review and comply with the company Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, and all subsequent revisions
Record accurate time entries for all assigned tasks
Report unsafe conditions, inefficiencies, or potential unairworthy practices to supervision immediately
Work flexible schedules and perform maintenance in small, confined spaces when required
Required Skills
Ability to comprehend and perform aircraft fuel system maintenance
Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
Effective problem-solving and time management skills
Commitment to safety and procedural compliance
Required Experience
2–4 years of aircraft maintenance experience
